Gail

Sally purchased Gail as a six-year-old; she originally had been imported from England. Gail is the daughter of Julie Simpson's International champion Moss and Julie Simpson's Scottish Nationals champion Gwen. Now retired from trialing, Gail was Sally's first sheepdog. She has a lovely, natural manner with her sheep, and as such was an ideal dog from whom to learn the art of handling. Gail is the dam of Stuart Davidson's Whiterose Kep, winner of the Scottish Nationals.

Gil

Gil is Sally's newest acquisition. Gil was bred by Amanda Milliken: he is the product of Stormy Winter's Roy and Amanda's Grace. Gil has a wonderful, sunny temperament and is taking to training very well; it should be great fun to watch him develop!

Paige

Paige is the product of Stuart Davidson's International-winning Craig and Sally's Gail: she has been trained exclusively by Sally since puppyhood. An extremely smart bitch with a great deal of natural stock sense, Paige recently won her first Open trial out of 68 Open dogs.

Phyl

Heather imported Phyl from England in 2001. Phyl's father is Bobby Dalziel's Jim and her mother is Bobby Dalziel's Gael (who herself is the same breeding--Bobby's Wisp to Bobby's Dot--as his Cap). Phyl is a very talented bitch who has proven to be a perfect dog for Heather, who has been trialing her in Open for the past four years. You can read about Phyl's exploits on Heather's PhylBlog.

 

Joss

Joss is a daughter of Phyl and Amanda Milliken's 2005 USBCHA Nationals Finals champion Bart. Joss was born on July 4, 2005 and has just begun her training on livestock. Joss shows promise as a sheepdog, with nice, natural pace and the same natural, direct driving style as her mother Phyl.
